I created Vortex for a collection made for the 2018 Whitstable Biennale with other Open School East Associates. It is created by the action of magnetic stirrers in a carefully lit fish bowl of water, with a sound track which mixes the internal workings of the human body - mainly a steadily increasing heartbeat – with those of a severe storm ending with thunder.
